My daughter Penny was born during one of the busiest, most formative times of my life, while I was a 2nd year ObGyn resident, learning how to care for others while becoming a mom myself. 

She grew up right alongside my journey in medicine, shaping me just as much as I was shaping my career. Now she’s my little mini me—always coloring, always creating, and drawn to anything with flowers.
